It is already out in dev2 branch on github. But is does not support all hardware components we want to support at the moment.

If you connect successful everything should work. Best here is to look into console with commands and ack enabled to see what is going on. Especially of interest is if you get any response at all. If board uses hardware flow you might need to change…

Forget X2, x min endstop is for tool 0 left and x max endstop for tool 1 right.

1. Firmware also works correct here. Make sure distance is a multiple of step width or at some positions you get a extra step. Also microstepping is not 100% precise, so best is full step distance or half step. 2. That requires new commands and enc…

If you run it you are user pi, if server runs it it is user repetierserver which might not be in sudoer list for /usr/bin/omxplayer. Add it like we shoewd for shutdown command in manual.

No idea what you ask, wrong language. But if that was after homing your home position is 0, 0 ,0.

If that is where the perimeter start/stop you can remove it with advance. You need latest dev version where advance is much improved.

I'm currently not deep enough into this topic to answer that. But do not expect it in V1 firmware. For V2 I'm planning to integrate TMC support soon including hopefully switch stealthchop/spreadcycle. With the modular design it should then be easy t…

Not sure if. Printing over sd card bypasses information flow so you can not trust shown values like fan or position any more. Also printing time prediction becomes unavailable. Maximum possible is percent and prediction on passed time, which is comp…

Firmware send "ok" after each command received. Host waits for the ok to send next command, so if communication errors cause an error here flow breaks. The message is a hint that this happened and got detected by host. But the message is unfamiliar …

@chofmann Thanks for the NetworkManager hint. Was already wondering who is responsible for changes. After some research it seems that the default behaviour changed with newer NetworkManager version. /etc/NetworkManager.conf with [m…

Ok, can not say where it happend but you seem to have made a setting change using the same key value twice. Probably in slicer definition creating a second with same name. Hard to say. First make a copy of $home/.mono where all registry entries are…

I think it was a waveshare display, but that needed lots of tweaking in linux to get it running. Was a long time ago I have set it up with an older raspbian. That is not what you want as easy solution. What might be easier if you have such a display…

You posted under Repetier-Host so I assumed you use the host. With Repetier-Server you can drag and drop on the upload buttons. These are select file buttons redesigned and dragging a file on them is the same as pressing the button and selecting th…

Already possible. If extension is .gcode just drag it on graphic and it switches to preview and loads gcode.

Both ports are ok to use and have their pros and cons. Programming port resets printer so connecting always works as state is defined. Native port is in theory faster also that speed is not needed, but does not reset on connect. That can cause probl…

Yep. But I think I have found the reason. Looks like dhcpcd is starting and blocking usage of it. Modifying /etc/hdcpcd.conf to ignore wlan0 interface and rebooting made it work in my tests. Will do some more tests and publish it soon. The line is d…

We use the official 7" touch display from raspberry pi foundation. That gets stacked on the pi and uses the flat cable hdmi cable for communication. With that display you can use our images with no modification at all. Other hdmi displays should wor…

To make things easier please test first if everything works in the server web gui. Only if that works host can work at all. Also even if host connects to server the server must have the printer online and commands must work. Use console to test if c…

There is no way around filling the data also preset is good in many cases if you are in doubt. But at least hardware must be defined correctly to work. Maybe googling gives you a better start configuration. Otherwise use marlin config to get most va…

server.log rotates on daily basis. Old log is then server.log.0 In the log of the hanging case you see that firmware stopped responding with "ok". Knowing this normally does not happen I think problem was that the driver on one of the sides got a p…

To find the reason more information is needed. Did the printers get disconnected from server and job stop? What are the lines getting repeated? Also check with ACK/Commands in log enabled to see all communication. Any messages in /var/lib/Repetier-S…

If there is mor ethen one job in queue new files to it get queued and you need to start one of them explicitly. In host server tab you can switch between models and jobs in queue. Select queue and then the job to print and click print. Alternativel…

Current image does in deed have a problem with wifi. I'm currently testing the problem. Main problem is that linux reports with nmcli dev that wlan0 is unavailable which makes it impossible to connect and use wifi. Once I have solved it you can down…

Do you really have repetier-firmware installed on the printbot? If not connection will not work until you set it to marlin which I think is the default firmware also both should work.

M42 toggles pins on the printer board, not on the pi. You need something like https://thepihut.com/blogs/raspberry-pi-tutorials/27968772-turning-on-an-led-with-your-raspberry-pis-gpio-pins There are many tutorials on setting gpio pins for pi but w…

The AVR chips are 8 bit processors with 16 bit address so they can only address 65536 bytes. To use more bytes (they have 256KB flash) they use some tricks, but these do not work addressing constant stored data like the strings stored in flash. So i…

That is electronics so not my field. All I know is that pi has 3.3V outputs not 5V so wonder if that works. But no @execute can only run commands you have entered in extcommands.xml - see manual advanced setup chapter.
